At the Rio Olympics in 2016 Matt Langridge finally achieved his goal of becoming an Olympic Rowing Champion when he was part of the British crew that won the men’s eights.  

On this week’s Best in the World with Richard Parr we ask Matt how his life has changed since winning gold, does he miss the intense training and who he looks up to as role models? 

Matt tells Richard that he considered quitting rowing after getting a bronze medal bronze at the 2012 London Olympics.
